Mayo Dark Skies Festival & European Dark Skies Symposium November 1st to 5th 2019

Bat Conservation Ireland will be a manning a stand at the European Symposium for the Protection of the Night Sky. Tina Aughney will also present a talk on BCIreland’s work on Irish bats and artificial light at night. The Symposium promises to be a very informative event bringing together many organisations and researchers with an interest in the night sky, from astronomers to ecologists and tourism experts. The Symposium will be preceded by a three day family friendly Mayo Dark Skies Festival.
