An all-Ireland charity that promotes the conservation of bats and their habitats
Join Andrew Harrington of Waterford Bat Group on International Biodiversity Day for a bat walk through Newtown Woods in Tramore. We will take a dusk walk through this coastal woodland and learn more the variety of bat species that live here, as well as other woodland wildlife. Please bring rain gear and comfortable footwear for walking along woodland tracks. As this walk will conclude after dark, please also bring a torch if you have one.
Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult, also some parts of walk may not be accessible to wheelchairs or buggies.
