An all-Ireland charity that promotes the conservation of bats and their habitats
Join us for a moonlit guided walk around the stunning Inch Wildfowl Reserve with special bat detecting equipment. Find out how bats use the landscape and why they are important for biodiversity and get those steps in on a 1.5 hour walk around the lake. We have teamed up with Donegal County Council’s Biodiversity Officer to showcase why we need biodiversity and how each of us can boost biodiversity at home, workplace and school. Refreshments provided.
The event is wheelchair accessible. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours and will be broken into segments so that participants with different levels of fitness can take part.
This event is free and open to all who register to attend. This event is being held as part of Biodiversity Week 2024.
