An all-Ireland charity that promotes the conservation of bats and their habitats
Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Rossmore Park, Co. Monaghan for a batty fun-filled evening! At 8.45pm Tina Aughney of Bat Conservation Ireland will lead a bat walk in the forest park. Using bat detectors you can listen in on their ultrasonic calls and watch these elusive creatures in flight. Tina will describe some of the Irish species and their life cycle as the walk progresses.
This event is free and open to all. It is being held as part of Biodiversity Week 2019.
Please wear sturdy footwear and warm outdoor clothing and bring a torch. Children welcome if accompanied by an adult.
