A talk given by Dr. Kate McAney, Vincent Wildlife Trust
In brief: ‘1998 was the year Vincent Wildlife Trust acquired its first Irish lesser horseshoe bat reserve and today the twelve buildings under its care are roosting sites for approximately 4,000 horseshoe bats. In this talk, Kate will describe these roosts and the variety of skills (not always zoological!) the she has used over the years in order to provide these bats with the perfect roosting conditions.’
